He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan B. Long and Tempie Faircloth Long; his wife Gladys Hayworth Long; and his siblings, Baxter Long, Donnie Long, Jimmy Long, Maggie Johnson, Clara Mae Miller, Evelyn Butts, Genevie Hucks and Gladys Mae Long.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Long Dillon (Mark) of Sophia; his grandchildren, Thomas Myles Dillon (Hannah) and Johnathan Cole Dillon (Kimberly); and his great grandchildren, Hudsyn Mae Dillon, Case Dillon, Ada Dillon, Emma Dillon, Hendrix Dillon and Haddon Dillon.
