He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Bertie Jane Freeman Jarrett; his wife Gayle Royals Jarrett; and his siblings, Becky Floyd, Marion Carol Turner, Ann Dallman, Wayne Jarrett and Marty Jarrett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ruby Hazelwood of Archdale, Sharon "Judy" Barnes of Trinity, Kay Younger of Sanford, Brenda Hynes (Bill) of Thomasville, Jerry Jarrett of Archdale and Garland Jarrett (Teresa) of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
