It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Louis Dudley Sr. of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Joe L. Dudley Jr., Ursula Dudley Oglesby (Mark) and Genea Dudley Gidey (late Abay Gidey); his grandchildren, Mark Oglesby Jr., Elena Oglesby and Noah Gidey; his siblings, William Dudley, Cornelius (CC), Dudley (Emma), Mardecia Dudley (Pete), Elsie Little (Juarez), MacArthur Dudley and George Dudley (Blanche); his close friend Eunice M. Dudley; and his caregiver Ella Wilson. He is also survived by other relatives, friends.
