James Rudolph Yates Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Rudolph Yates of High Point, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Parkis Yates and Stella Counts Yates; and his daughter Teresa Yates (Terry). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his children, Mike Yates, Jason Yates (Jennifer), Cathy Broome (Vince) and Jennifer Yates (Brad Quesinberry); his grandchildren, Sara Hulsey (Chris), Anna Holcomb (Jimmy), Tyler Yates, Amanda Yates, Autumn Yates (Duncan Kelly), Jackson Quesinberry, Garrett Quesinberry and Parker Quesinberry; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Wyatt Holcomb and Julian Hulsey.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Emerywood Baptist Church (1300 Country Club Dr, High Point, NC 27262).
