He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon and Marie Permar Owen. He is survived by: his siblings, Dianne Kluge (Jeffrey) of Jamestown and Robert Lee Owen (Dennie) of Greensboro; and his children, Mandy Angelmeyer (Matt) of Raleigh and Shane Hathcock of Greensboro. He is also survived by loving grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
