He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Arthur E. Morgan and Frances Mauney Morgan (Frances Morgan Fraser). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Nifong Morgan; his children, David Zan Morgan (Carey) and Melissa Morgan Tatum (Paul); his granddaughters, Morgan "Bree" and Sophie Tatum; and his siblings, Mary Morgan, John "Chip" Morgan (Nancy) and William "Zeke" Morgan.
