He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Jones and Lucille P. Jones; his wife Mary Ruth Jones; his siblings, Claretta Tyson, Mae Frances Edwards, Della Mae Blair and Jaycee Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred Green, Betty Davis, Nitty Davis and Randy Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Percefie M. Jones, Cathy L. Jones and Paris L. Jones; his sisters, Annie P. McLaurin (Pastor Ernest), Helen Moore and Christine Bracey (Charles); and his siblings-in-law, Doris Jones, Flossie Thomas, Lee Potts (Walter), Willie Davis and John L. Davis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and beloved friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral and Cremation Service (1404 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
