We bid farewell to Iris Belle Horner of High Point, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2024 at the age of 94. Iris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Conrad and Matrona Allgood Dinkins; her husband Jack Rogers Horner, Sr.; her children, Judy Lynn Rudd and Jack Rogers Horner, Jr.; her son-in-law Jimmy Baker; and her siblings, Leno Norman, Ruby Hillard, Antilee Hill, Mary Lou Durham and John Allen Dinkins.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Baker of New London, Jill Gaither (Dana) of Walkertown and Steve Crowell of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Ashley Hoover (Jeffrey), Brian Gaither, Derek Gurley (Regina), Brad Gaither (Sarah), Brent Gaither, Angela Surratt (Anthony) and Lauren Mabry (Stephen); and her caregivers, Karen Robinette, Mary Montgomery and Martha Davis. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
