He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Myers and Vera Myers; his former wife Carolyn Wiggins Myers; his siblings, Nell Wooten, Dan and Joe Myers; and his grandson Charles Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Libby Lomax Myers; his children, Jamie Williams (Jeffrey), Hugh Myers II (Terri), Daniel Myers (Sara) and Elizabeth Williams (Lawrence); his sister Ruth Myers Bailey; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Katie, Brittany, Hugh III, Vivian, Kelsey, Travis and Danny; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Ethan, Laycie, Laynie, Landon and Jocelyn.
