It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Blackwell (High Point, North Carolina), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gordon and Bettie Sexton Stout; her husband John Homer Blackwell, Jr.; and her brothers, Jimmy Dean Stout and Danny Ray Stout.

She is survived by: her sons, John Todd Blackwell (Arrow) of High Point and Charles William "Billy" Blackwell (Sandra) of High Point; her grandson Mavrick Blackwell of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and her pet Prissy.
