He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe King Tate and Betty Glenn Robertson; and his brother David Michael Tate. He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin Tate (Rachel) of Pelham and Terry Christopher (Tate); his grandchildren, Parker, Claire and Max Tate; and his siblings, Larry Tate (Nancy), Patricia Cathcart (David) and Judy Diane Tate.
