He is survived by: his sisters, Doris Hooker and Ruby Gobel (Stanley); his partner Jean Grass; his nephew Billy "Eddie" Hooker; his nieces, Renee G. Schwendiman (Rick) and Doris H. Rathbone "Dorisie" (Scott); his great-nephews, Robert "Tyler" Rathbone (Reba), Kyle W. Schwendiman and Joseph "Ryan" Rathbone (Sarah); his great-niece Hannah L. Welham (David); and also, Emmy and Addy Rathbone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
