He is survived by: his wife Laura June Gant Rickert; his children, Jennifer Elizabeth Rickert of Lexington, Donald Warren Rickert II of High Point, Jeffrey Mark Rickert (Novi) of Wilmington, Timothy Scott Rickert (Linda) of Trinity, Patrick Eugene Rickert (Clarita) of High Point and Christopher Steven Rickert of High Point; his stepdaughter Kim Huneycutt (Steve) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Donald Warren Rickert III (Daisy), Travis Andrew Rickert (Malika), Braxton Tiberius Rickert, Dustin Ian Rickert, Ciara Walls (Dustin), Tristan Rickert, Axel Rickert, Matthew Scott Rickert, Tyler Ray Rickert (Alicia), Josh Rickert, Alana Rickert, Christina Salisbury Richard (Brian), Abby White and Laura Laney Sarah Rickert (Charles); and his stepgrandsons, Christopher Staton and Mitchell Gilchrist. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
