He is survived by: his wife Lillian Helen Betancourt Desmond; his children, Sherry Desmond of Pennsylvania, Christy Desmond of Queens, Kellyann Valentin (Paul Maisonet) of Bronx, Jessica Betancourt (Danny Lorenzo) of New Windsor, Jillian Ayende (Enoc) of Staley, Vivian Moreno of Newburgh, Dennis Desmond, Jr. of Florida, Steven Desmond of Colorado and Scott Desmond of Florida; and his sisters, Annette Desmond of Brooksville and Donna Denatale of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
