She is survived by: her children, Kenyatta Ballard (Martrina) of Greensboro, NC, Bryant Ballard I (Alanna Richardson) of High Point, NC, Reginald Smith (Tyronia) of Atlanta, GA, DeLafayette Hughes (Diane) of High Point, NC, Ruthie Rogers (Jimmy), Sandra Hughes of High Point, NC and Tina Marsh of Raleigh, NC; and her brother James Alston, Jr. (Doris) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and special friends.
