She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude T. Harrison and Jennie Chandler Harrison; her husband R. C. Ward; and her sons, Ralph Ward, Harrel Ward and Richard Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Ward Campbell (David); and her sister Tee Vaughan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
