He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Asbury Reavis and Ida Beatrice Head Reavis; his wife Helen Jeanette Reavis; and his sons, Charles Wray Reavis and Raymond Lee Reavis.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Reavis Johnson (Tommy) of Charleston, SC, Charlene Reavis Green (Jack) of High Point and Randall Wayne Reavis (Sherry) of Forest City, NC; his grandchildren, Jennifer Reavis Jones (Bobby), Jamie Marie Henderson (Ryan), Kimberly Brooks Reavis, Katie Reavis Robles (Marcos), Cameron Marsden (Bryan), Amanda Buchanan (Adam), Rachel Lynette Reavis, Brian Meyerhoeffer (Sandra), Christopher Meyerhoeffer (Abbie), Matthew Meyerhoeffer, Jay Green (Kellie), Jordan Green (Amanda), Steven Greene (Ashley), Rob Johnson and Daniel Reavis; and his great grandchildren, Sophie Mae Meyerhoeffer, Leah Kate Jones, Brian Randall Jones, Conner Von Meyerhoeffer and Charles Levi Meyerhoeffer.
