He is survived by: his wife Darlene Norfleet McClendon; his sons, Frederick L. Miller of New York, Brent O. Norfleet and Charles R. McClendon, Jr. of New York; and his siblings, Carolyn Moore and Alfred George McClendon of Greensboro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
