He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl, Sr. and Emma; his sister Elizabeth (J. D. Elkes); and his nephews, Brice and Mike.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Clark (Jane) and Chan (Janet); his grandchildren, Carl, Mary, Samantha and Travis; and his sister-in-law Bobbie (Gary). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
