Carl Rakes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2020, at the age of 82, Carl Rakes (High Point, North Carolina), born in Franklin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Rakes and Ethel Doss Rakes. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stanley Rakes; his stepchildren, Jerry Scott Segers (Mitze) of Lexington and Wendy Steele (Brandon) of High Point; and his sister Carol Ballard of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
