He was predeceased by: his wife Doris "Dottie" Gibson; and his daughter Lynde Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Scott Gibson (Tim Edwards) of Raleigh and Lauran Bray (Eddie) of Fayetteville; and his grandsons, Alden Bray and Gibson Bray.
