He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lett and Myrtle Linton Dixon; his stepson Michael Gray; his siblings, Bobby Lett, Donnie Dixon, Charlie Dixon and Clarice Dixon; and his grandsons, Jerald B. Stapleton, Jr. and David Williamson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Brown and Missy Williamson (David); his siblings, Joel Lett (Deloris), Ken Dixon (Phyllis), Terry Dixon (Deborah) of Concord, Betty Sue Freeman and Penny Mangum (Donnie); and his grandchildren, Clara Williamson, Josh Williamson, Jay Stapleton, Joanna Stapleton, Jocelyn Neal and Chase Gray. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gospelway Baptist Church (1923 S Elm St, High Point, NC 27260).
