She is survived by: her children, Bobby Short (Stacey) of High Point, NC and Tina Foster (William) of Winston Salem, NC; her stepdaughter Emmaree Dunlap of Connecticut; her siblings, Merritt Short (Yvonne) of High Point, NC, Johnny Lee Short of High Point, NC, Sarah Staton of Massachusetts and Linda McCormick of High Point, NC; her sister-in-law Doll Massey of Lexington, NC; her grandchildren, Melody Askins (Elijah) of Georgia, Bobby Short, Jr. (Gia) of Georgia, Stephen Short (Tiffany) of High Point, NC, Antonio, Kalene, Ledariah of Winston Salem, NC, Xavier Short of High Point, NC, David, Melanie and Anthony of Connecticut; and her cousin Edith Wilson. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
