With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Burris (High Point, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her son Sherman Johnson. She is survived by: her siblings, Marie Johnson, Helen Staton, Ann Broadie, Sarah Walden, Roy Johnson and Linda Johnson (Roy).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral and Cremation Service (1404 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
