She was predeceased by: her parents, John Craig Allison and Rose Pettus Kimball Allison; her husband James "Jim" Franklin Cox; her brother John Craig Allison, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Sue Allison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Emily Cox Deal (Brian) of Watkinsville and Kimball "Kim" Cox Anderson (Tom) of Fort Mill; her grandchildren, Ginny Deal Hardy (Evan) of Ball Ground, Robert Deal of Watkinsville, Nicole Anderson of Fort Mill and Mitchell Anderson of Fort Mill; and her nephew John Craig "Jay" Allison IV (Tina) of Wytheville, Virginia..
