As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Matthews and Amy King Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Julia Osborne (Shawn) of Archdale, Laura Gregory (Bruce) of Orange City, FL and Clay Tanner (Janneth) of Deltona, FL; her stepson Raymond Tanner (Shari) of St. Augustine; her sister Helen Thomas of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Aaron Barnes (Ian), Jarrod Gregory, Alison Aguilar (Jay) and Sarah Tanner; and her great grandchild Lily Gregory.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
