It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artis Nicholson of High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie B. Nicholson and Donnetta Wall Nicholson; and his siblings, Donnie Nicholson, Mable Nicholson, Pearlie Whitworth and Nettie Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bethea Nicholson; his children, Lisa Nicholson and Artmus Nicholson; his siblings, Marcella Ervin of Raeford, NC, Connell Nicholson of Red Springs, NC and Willie Nicholson of Red Springs, NC; his brother-in-law John Bethea (Ida); and his close friend Steve Tillman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
