He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Walden and Lib Walden; his wife Ruby Walden; and his siblings, Roger Walden, Freddy Walden, Margaret Locklear and Alice Locklear.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Newcomb (Carolyn) and Leta Marie Strimple (Andrew); his grandchildren, Samantha Marie Pearson (Javonta) and Porcalynn Rosemarie Hayes; his great grandchildren, Londynn Pearson and Zoey Pearson; and his brothers, Michael Walden (Ashley) and Andrew Walden.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Wright Funerals-Cremations (1720 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery (1730 W English Rd, High Point, NC 27262).
