It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tayne Hefner Lackey (Hiddenite, North Carolina), who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Louise Fox Hefner; her husband Rick Lackey; her brother Todd Hefner; and her mother-in-law Faye Belle Jolly Lackey. She is survived by: her father Cloyd Hefner; her children, Brooke Williams (Billy) and Jordan Lackey (Amber); her grandchildren, Mackenzie Williams, McKayleigh Lackey, Rylyn Williams, Kennady Lackey, Israel Lackey, Carter Williams and Isaac Lackey; her parent-in-law Waitsell Lackey (Donnie); her close friends, Alyson Cunningham, Jackie Smith, Lora Rosamond and Kathy Gray; and her brother Michael White. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, and sister-in-laws.
