He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Arrington Harris and Eva Lackey Harris; his siblings, James Harris, Fred Harris, Tom Harris and Katherine Lambert; and his son-in-law Lindsey Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hammer Harris; his children, Cindy Summers, Robin Hill (Nathan), Robert Harris, Jr., Amelia Harris and Jonathan Harris; his grandchildren, Kara Steele (Adam), Garrett Summers (Chelsea) and Meredith Hill; his great grandchildren, Baylee and Bryson Steele; and his sister Shirley Moore.
