He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph LeVan and Stella Mae Martin LeVan; his wife Virginia Dorries Ramsey LeVan; and his siblings, Tom LeVan, Wayne LeVan, Troy LeVan, Craig LeVan, Wade LeVan, Ira Lee Levan, Parks "Buddy" LeVan, Halbert LeVan, Lucille Brittain and Betty Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Levan Jr. (Suzanne) of Valdese, Lindsay Lippard (Richard) of Troutman and Ginger LeVan-Houston (Paul) of Statesville. He is also survived by Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (848 Pisgah Church Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678).
