He is survived by: his wife RayNell Adams Poole; his sons, John Clark (Rejohnnica) and Marvin Clark (Alisha); his grandchildren, Malayah Adams and Brynlee Pettit; his siblings, Bro. Terry Lackey, Sr. (Phyllis), Magellan Stevenson, Jr. (Cindy), Daphne Stevenson (James Daye), Prudence Houpe, Sylvia Campbell, Carolyn Campbell (Bobby), Gladys (Gray), Helen Grinton, Teresa Wellman (Richard) and Dewanna Howell (Leslie); his sisters-in-law, Teresa W. Lackey and Margaret Adams; and his aunts and uncles, Lona Bell Lackey, Betty Poole, Alice Rankin, Russell Lackey, Harry Lackey and James Lackey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Zion Chapel AME Zion Church (81 Zion Chapel Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
