It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Rebecca Goodin King of Hiddenite, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Lola Clark Goodin; her husband Cecil Edward King; her siblings, Robert Allen Goodin, Gary Gwaltney Goodin and Katherine Agnes Goodin Tevepaugh; and her son-in-law Robert Bruce Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Richard King (Betty "BJ") of Statesville, Rodger King (Jill) of Taylorsville and Patricia King Lambert of Hiddenite; her grandchildren, Laura Leigh Gardner (Andrew), Anna Kathleen "Katie Okey" (David) and Joel Culberson King; and her great grandchildren, Curtis Gardner, Ruby Gardner and Jack Okey.
