He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Gales Johnson and Pauline Adams Johnson; his wife Evelina Millsaps Johnson; his daughter Amanda Fox (Andy) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Alex Fox, Ashley Shook (Hunter) and Addison Fox; his great grandchild Hallie Drew Shook; his sisters, Joyce Mayes of Statesville, Sandra Phillips (Doc) of Statesville, Gloria Joines of Hiddenite and Lisa Shaver (Gene) of Olin; and also Sheridan Stanton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Pisgah Methodist Church (488 Hill Farm Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
