We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 82, Donald Albert Mason of Hiddenite, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Boyd Mason and Adelle Millsaps Mason; his siblings, Jerry Franklin Mason and Judie Mason Reavis; his stepdaughter Sheila Ann McNeely; and his son-in-law Ray Kennedy Gaither.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bumgarner Mason; his children, Penny Gaither of Statesville, Vivian Mason of Statesville, Julia Prevette (Daniel) of Statesville and Jerry Mason (Jennifer) of Hiddenite; his stepchildren, Gary Miller (Margaret) of Granite Falls and Kim Russell (Wayne) of Hiddenite; his stepson-in-law Danny McNeely of Hickory; his grandchildren, Jessica Bowles, Lauren Gaither, Ashley Prevette (Derek), Jocelyn Mason, Jenna Mason, Leighann Bradley (Shawn) and Elaine Killian (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Kenleigh Alexander, Joe Alexander, Sarahbeth Bradley, Colston Bradley, Kade Killian, Kohen Killian and Kannon Killian.
