We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 81, Carol Pitts Whitley of Hiddenite, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samual Wilson Martin and Mildred Smith Martin; and her children, Lori Ann Pitts, Robert Pitts Jr. and Samual Whitley.
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Pitts (Diane) of Clemmons, NC., Deborah Jones of Hiddenite and Selina Semones of St. Augustine, FL.; her siblings, Sammie Martin (Ellen) of Hildebran, NC. and Kathy Van Nest of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Lori Pitts, Matthew Pitts, Dillon Whitley, Colten Pitts, Curtis Semones, Sam Semones and Michael Semones; and her great grandchildren, Annie, Harmony, Scarlett and Thomas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pisgah Methodist Church (488 Hill Farm Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
