He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ceph Crowson Childers and Cloyce Arlene Childers; his wife Retha Sue Childers; his siblings, Rickey, Randy Childers (Michelle), Shirley Daniels and Joyce Jolly of Taylorsville; and his brother-in-law John Mayberry of Taylorsville.
