He was predeceased by: his parents, Royd Franklin Meadows and Ethel Sharpe Meadows; and his siblings, Bristol Meadows, Bobby Meadows, Mary Meadows Robertson and Martha Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wiles Meadows; his daughters, Audra Meadows Axsom (Bobby) of Mooresville and Susan Meadows Sherrill (Gene) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Caitlin Axsom of Knoxville, TN and Connor Axsom of Mooresville; and his niece Jill Robertson of Hiddenite.
