Youa Chang Obituary

We bid farewell to Youa Chang of Hickory, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2024 at the age of 62. Youa touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Youa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Youa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She is survived by: her parents, Shoua Lue Chang and Tong Vang Chang; her daughter Christy Mai Chang; her brother Shong Leng Chang; her sister-in-law Mai Cha Vang; and her sisters, Shoua Moua (Joua Vang Moua), Chay Chang, Kia Xiong (Wuntrue Xiong), Julie Jeu Chang and Lee Chang (Nhia Fue Lee). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Catawba Memorial Park (3010 U. S. Hwy 70 SW, Hickory, NC 28602).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christy Mai Chang.
