Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wayne Darrell Sisk (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 61, on January 20, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sisk and Virginia Sisk; and his brothers, Tommy, Ricky, Mikey and Dennis.

He is survived by: his son Christopher Brandon Sisk (Elizabeth Wise); his grandchildren, Lily, Preston, Penley and Parker; his sister Kathy Fortner (Ronnie); and his friends, Renea White and Ron Killian. He is also survived by his grandsons, and overprotective Papa Wayne to his granddaughter.

“When we moved to Conover, Wayne stopped by to meet us. He and Bobby developed a deep friendship. The past 8 years they would help each other out when needed. Wayne would come to the house and honk his horn. He usually rode his golf cart and had his dog, Molly. Bobby would go outside and sit with him for hours and they talked about everything and solved the world's problems. They did not agree on politics but they respected each other's views. Bobby Allison has lost a dear friend. I”
