He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew Potts and Mabel Lucille Haigler Potts; and his significant other Deborah Lynn Propst Potts. He is survived by: his son Tony Edward Potts (Jessica) of Lincolnton; his granddaughters, Natalee Drawdy and Lydia Potts of Lincolnton; and his sister Gail Ross (Harold) of Ridgeway, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mackie Funeral Service (35 Duke St, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CVCC Automotive program in honor of Tony G. Potts.
