He is survived by: his wife Donna Young Bandy; his children, Timothy Bandy (Lauren) of Vinton, VA., Patricia Patton (Damon) of Hickory and Lena Bandy (Chris Mitchell) of Glade Hill, VA.; his sisters, Marcia Gibson of Salem, VA and Betty Gordon of Vinton, VA.; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Patton, Caleb Patton, Isabella Patton, Matthew Patton, Chaelyn Bandy and Matthew Dunne.
