He is survived by: his wife Joice; his son Greg Smyre; his grandchildren, Greg Smyre II (Kerby), Madalyn Abbot (Alex) and Miranda Smyre; and his great grandchildren, Gregory Thomas Smyre III and Clarence "Clay" Ray Smyre.
