She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lynn and Morene Hedrick; her husband Charles Willis Van Horn Sr.; and also, Betty Mahoney and Muriel Huffman.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Van Horn, Jr. and Jeffery Van Horn (Liz); her grandchildren, Bradley Van Horn and Sarah Van Horn Hedrick (Dakota); her great grandchild Charlotte "Charlee" Hedrick; and her close friends, Lisa Orr and Samantha Thorne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church (2259 12th Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
