He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Bethel Hager; his granddaughter Chloe Janson DeLay of Mooresville; his siblings, Harriet Smith Proctor (Dean) of Hickory and Thomas Alexander Hager (Karen) of Charlotte; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Bost Hager, Betty June Johnson and Melton Hope.
