It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Moore (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cook and Zelda Munday Cook; her grandchild Jesse Moore; and her siblings, Jimmy Scott (Charlene) and Betty Eckard Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy; her children, Susan Sigmon (Craig) of Conover, Julie Moore of Conover and Andrew Moore of Bethlehem; her grandchildren, Benjamin Sigmon (Miranda), Katie Herring (Daniel), Betsy Draper (Charles), Ashley, Keisha Moore, Tristan Moore, Shayla and Austin Moore; her great grandchildren, Spencer, Camden, Evelyn, George, Hadley, Coleman, Elizabeth of Nyesha, R. J. and Carter; and her caregivers, Claudette, Donna and Devon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church (4420 County Home Rd, Conover, NC 28613). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
