It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Gordon Crossley of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Albert Crossley and Reba Grigg Crossley; and his sister Sheryl Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Dana Mackie Crossley; his children, Monica Crossley Smith (Eric) of Charlotte, Lori Crossley Andren (Justin) of Greensboro and Chase Cameron Crossley of Hickory; his stepdaughters, Allison Hall of Hickory and Amanda Lovette (Patrick) of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Cole H. Smith, Courtney D. Smith, Camaren Myers, Dagan Crossley, Camden Crossley and Alexander Duffey. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and sons-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Concord Baptist Church (74 Falls Ave, Granite Falls, NC 28630). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
