He is survived by: his wife April; his sons, Gabriel and Ian; his parents, Dr. Roger G Lim and Dr. Nancy Benemerito Lim of Hickory, NC; his brother Frederick Lim (Diana Gabriel); his nieces, Helen and Franziska Gabriel-Lim of Ossining, NY; his in-laws, Larry and Martha Feimster of Morganton, NC; his sister-in-law Suzanne Feimster; and his nephews, Michael (Kelcie), Preston Collingwood and Sgt Garron Moses.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's United Methodist Church (52 16th Ave NW, Hickory, NC 28601).

“I am so sorry to hear of this. I knew Roger from when he worked at Grace Hospital ER. As an ortho doc, I found him to be always cheerful, always helpful and always looking out for the best for his patients. He was compassionate and caring, competent and loved by everyone. Our family is with his family mourning this terrible tragedy.”
