Richard Pressley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2024, at the age of 81, Richard Pressley of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Brevard, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pressley and Geneva Corn Pressley; and his brother Larry Pressley of Hendersonville. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Frizzell Pressley; his sons, Dennis (Christine) of Huntersville and Brian (Amanda) of Hickory; his granddaughter Jordyn of Huntersville; and his brother C. Donald Pressley of Hendersonville. He is also survived by his wife, sons, daughters in law, and granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638).
