He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Renee Burns (Michael) of Austin and Dawn Cherie Zentner-Desai (Aku) of Erie, CO; and his grandchildren, Tanner Reid Burns of Minneapolis, MN, Noah Michael Burns, Zoe Alice Burns of Austin, TX, Dane Sachidanand Desai of Erie, CO and Weston Mahesh Desai of Ft. Collins, CO..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Partners in Developing Missions, a charitable organization founded in part by Reid and Judy, and now led by Mike and Jill (Zentner) Burns.
